Karnataka Forest Department is conducting the recruitment to fill the vacant posts of Forest Guard. The applications for this recruitment were invited in March 2020. Now the department is going to conduct the selection process for these posts in a phased manner.
In the first phase, a camp will be organized to check physical fitness. After that, other stages including a written test will be conducted. The department will release the Karnataka Forest Guard Hall Ticket for this on the official website which will be available on the website about 10 days before.
The application commencement for these posts started on 16th March 2020. The last date was 15 May 2020 but Due to COVID-19, the application date was extended to 15th June 2020. Now the department is expected to declare the Exam Date & KFD Hall Ticket for the PST which will be held in August 2021 (tentative).

Karnataka Forest Guard Written Test Date – Check Schedule & Exam Notice
The KFD Forest Department has not announced the Forest Guard PST & Physical Test schedule till now. The physical test will tentatively be held in the month of August. The board will release a list of eligible candidates after checking the application forms. The candidates who are found eligible will appear in the physical test on the respective date.
Kar Forest Guard Paper Pattern – Scheme of Examination
The department will conduct a written examination for the Forest Guard posts with a paper having multiple choice objective type questions. There will be 100 MCQs carrying one mark each. The time duration of the written exam will be of two hours (120 minutes).

KFD Forest Guard Admit Card Details – General Instructions & Availability
The candidates will get the KFD Forest Guard Admit Card online from the official website. Candidates will be able to download the same by filling up the application registration details i.e. registration number and password/date of birth. The board will not send the call letter to the aspirants in hard copy.
There will be information like the candidate’s name, registration number, date of birth, photograph etc printed on the KFD Forest Guard Hall Ticket.
Also, the candidates will get the examination centre name and exam timings information on it. Candidates must check the information printed on the Karnataka Forest Guard Call Letter properly. If an error/mistake is found, contact the exam authority before the exam date.
The candidates are required to produce photo identity proof for verification purposes to the invigilators at the time of the exam. Also, the candidates have to bring two passport size recent coloured photographs along with the KFD Forest Guard Hall Ticket print.
A valid photo identity proof for the verification may be among the following documents:-

- Pan Card
- Driving License
- Voter Identity Card
- School/College Identity Card in recent
- ID Card issued by the state or Centre Government
