About the M.E. Programme

The Master of Engineering in Information Technology (Internet Technology) is an interdisciplinary program with focus on Communication and Internet Technology.

Eligibility for the M.E. Program:

The Applicant has to be an Engineering Graduate in any one of the following branches:

• Electrical
• Electronics
• Electrical & Electronics
• Electronics and Telecommunications
• Computer Science and Engineering
• Information Technology

The candidates with Engineering Degrees having different nomenclatures, which can be considered as equivalent to above, are also eligible for admission. Students who have graduated from other Universities have to produce their eligibility certificate from Goa University at the time of admission.

Duration of the Program:

The Program consists of 4 Semesters (2 yrs). The course work is spanned over three semesters and the project over third and fourth semester.

Selection for the Program:

The selection of candidates shall be based on marks obtained at degree level and a written/ oral test conducted at the college.

Affiliation:

The course is affiliated to Goa University and the Scheme of instructions & examination and detailed Syllabi is finalized and revised periodically by Goa University through the Board of Studies in Information Technology.

Scholarships:

Candidates with a valid GATE score are eligible for AICTE Scholarships as per rules.

Number of Seats:

18 candidates shall be admitted to this program every academic year in the following categories:

Forms may be downloaded from 2^nd  June, 2008 to  19^th  July, 2008 .

Last Date to submit completed forms: 26^th  July, 2008 .

Admission List to be declared on: 4^th August, 2008.

Last Date of Payment of  Fees : 11^th August, 2008.
