DIGITAL LIBRARY
The Central Library established the web based Digital
Library in the year 2007, with an infinite resource of knowledge
made available online to the users of the PCCE family.

DSpace digital library software
Digital library is developed in the PCCE with the
help of DSpace digital library software designed by MIT and HP. The
DSpace comprises of in-house database developed by the PCCE Library
staff. The database includes more than 2000 full-text articles and
selected question papers. In DSpace, users can access the sample
question papers, selected articles relative to syllabus of their
course programme. These resources can be browsed by author, title or
by giving relevant keyword. The Digital Library has future plans to
develop the databases of the periodicals, CDROM collections,
student’s project reports and faculty publications.

2. Library Management System (LMS)
Library Management Systems is in-house designed
library software by librarian and computer department. LMS is web
based users can browse the resources by any computer connected to
campus wide network. Through LMS users can browse the resources by
title, author, and call number. LMS also support for generating
library administration reports. (Access to this resources restricted
within the campus only)

3. IEE/IEEE Electronic Library (IEL)
The
IEL Online (IEEE/IEE Electronic Library) covers almost one third of
the world's current electrical engineering and computer science
literature. The students and staff of PCCE have access to more than
950,000 documents from over 12,000 publications,
including 241 journals, transactions, magazines, 8695
conference proceedings and 1806 IEEE Standards. More than 25,000
new pages are added per month.

4. Springer Online
Springer Link is the online e-journals portal from
where students and staff of PCCE can access top 517 Engineering
and Technology full text international journals. Springer is one
of the world’s leading scientific and engineering publishers. This
eBundle includes topics in the fields of Engineering, Computer
Science, Mathematics, Chemistry & Material Science and Physics &

5. American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME)
The
ASME conducts one of the world’s largest technical publishing
operations. Users can browse more than 30 technical conferences and
200 professional developments. The ASME promotes and enhances the
technical competency and professional well-being through quality
programmes and activities in Mechanical engineering, better enable
its practitioners to contribute to the well-being of human kind
through it’s publications that include 22 international journals.

6. Developing Library Network (DELNET)
DELNET is promoted by the
National Informatics Centre, Government of India and India
International Centre, New Delhi. Students and staff of PCCE can
browse database of networked library collection and also books can
be borrow under ILL service from DELNET. Apart from this students
and staff can access conference proceedings and international
journals and magazines.

7. Open Access Resources
Library maintain selected list of online open access
resources for the benefit of users. Users can browse online books,
journals, magazines, conference proceedings, handbooks, and other
resources.
