their community, which will make it a much happier and healthier place
for the children to grow in. Your sponsorship contributions will help
fund vital community development programs in areas such as housing,
health care, education and agriculture – whatever the community needs

Give A Gift:
Many of our sponsors
want to give the children gifts, especially during holidays and
Christmastime. But with the children’s best interests in mind, we
encourage you not to send parcels as these can incur customs as well as
courier charges on delivery, which can sometimes be more than the worth
of the package. Also, if there isn’t enough of the “gift” to go around
to everyone, the children become despondent.
However, we’ve set up a
gift fund, where you are able to make a one time or additional donation
at any time. This gift fund goes directly to the children in the Balgram.
Your contribution is added to others and gifts such as toys, books,
puzzles, clothes and other treats will be given to all the children
residing in the Balgram.
In addition we may use
these funds to buy large gifts for the children such as computers,
bicycles and playground equipment that all the children can use.
